Marinara Pasta Sauce - Net Wt. 1.25 oz, Just Add Water.
Preparation: 28 oz can diced tomatoes (undrained), 6 oz tomato paste (for thickening) 2 cups of water. Combine all ingredients with Mama Leone's Marinara Sauce and simmer about 10-15 minutes. Serve over Mama Leone's Roasted Garlic and Parsley, or Garlic Angel Hair. Garnish with fresh Grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
Variations: 1. To make a red clam sauce: Add clams (fresh or canned) minced or chopped and follow the above recipe. 2. To make a primavera: Chop and saute' your favorite fresh vegetables together in a medium skillet using butter (add a little sherry in the sauce for that Old World Effect) and add to above recipe.
